Candidate Requirements

• Crowd control experience
• Experience in managing and implementing security for large public events
• Ability to make impartial decisions that may affect the safety of others
• Private Security or Personal Protection license a plus
• CPR or other medical training a plus
• Flexibility to travel both nationally and internationally
• Possession of a United States Passport and or an international passport a plus

Job Requirements & Tasks

We are looking for non-technical people to fill these positions. Responsibilities for this job are basic. You will be required to provide security for HFXcon staff members, honored guests, speakers, and attendees. Select individuals may be assigned as personal security for honored guests if needed. You will also be required to monitor the convention areas and report and correct any security hazards such as fights, theft, or any illegal activities on the convention floor that are specified beforehand. Medical knowledge is a plus for aid in any emergency situations that may arise. This position is full-time only during convention dates and requires travel nationally and possibly internationally. Past criminal offenses will not disqualify applicants, but will be dealt with on a case by case basis depending on the convicted offences.
