Candidate Requirements

• Ability to speak impartially on behalf of a large group or organization
• Strong public speaking skills are a must
• Contacts with media agencies a plus
• Flexibility to travel both nationally and internationally
• Possession of a United States Passport and or an international passport a plus

Job Requirements & Tasks

The job function of a PR Representative for HFXcon is to speak to the media on behalf of the convention personnel so that they may concentrate on their jobs. This person should have experience in dealing with media agencies so that there is no confusion or miscommunication. A responsibility will be to address any questions reporters and media agencies may have before, during, and after the convention. This job also requires the individual to address questions or concerns the public may have regarding the convention via email, over the phone, or in person and may require the need to speak in front of a large audience from time to time. This job can be done part-time from home during the off season, but is full-time during convention dates and will require travel to the convention location during that time.
