HFXcon is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Fund Raising Coordinator for future convention funding. Candidates must meet the listed requirements as well as have some past experience.

Candidate Requirements

  • Strong management skills
  • Good social and economical skills
  • Treasury and money management skills
  • Mild business skills and experience
  • Experience working with conventions and large scale media events
  • Flexibility to travel both nationally and internationally.
  • Possession of a United States Passport and or an international passport a plus

Job Requirements & Tasks

This position entails thinking up ways to raise money for hosting future conventions as well as aid in funding any publicity campaigns for the convention. Orchestrating sales and creation of souvenir items such as mugs, shirts, etc will also be required. This position will be part-time during the off season of the convention and can be done from home, however it will be full-time during convention dates and require travel to hosted city locations. Travel may include going overseas to foreign countries as well as within the US. Any applicants with past convictions of credit card fraud, embezzlement, larceny, or anything of that nature will immediately be disqualified.
