HFX is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Chief Application Developer. We are in dire need of programmers to aid our effort in creating software applications involving security and other computing areas. Because of this demand for programmers, we also need people who can direct them. Candidates must meet the listed requirements as well as have some past experience.

Candidate Requirements

• Years of experience in today's modern programming languages such as C++, Visual Basic, etc.
• Experience in coding software on multiple OS platforms like Windows, Unix and Linux
• Experience in programming applications with Networking or Internet functionality
• Ability to make deadlines and work with other programmers to complete large scale projects
• Experience in creating large scale multi-function applications
• Experience in programming Java a plus
• Database programming and integration a plus
• Ability to make strict deadlines
• Personnel management skills

Job Requirements & Tasks

HFX is seeking persons to fill the position of Applications Development Chief. Persons filling this position must be able to manage other programmers and be able to provide technical help to them when needed. Anyone filling this position will also be required to come up with new application ideas and implement and manage appropriate resources to make them a reality. Creativity is a must. Persons applying for this job must also be able to work well within a team environment. We are looking to begin development on several network and security related applications along with a few ideas for Internet related applications. This position can only be filled with applicants who have received professional training in the filed as it requires them to be a reference for others. This job is part-time and can be done from home.
